Healthy Paws dog beds

We put a lot of research and energy into the purchase of our own beds, and rightfully so. Sleep is super important! Likewise, our pups find solace in perfectly sized, comfortable dog beds — even if they still tend to enjoy some additional time on the couch and on our own mattresses while catching Zzzs. Below we’ve rounded up an assortment of beautiful, comfy dog beds your own fur babe will love lounging on.

Casper Dog Mattress, $125 and up

Casper is known for making some of the most comfortable beds for humans, and your pup can relish in that same pillow-soft, well-supported dream-of-a-mattress, too! The Casper Dog Mattress was engineered by the same crew that makes all their other mattresses, and is built to last while ensuring max comfort for Spot. Choose from three colors and three sizes.

B & G Martin Dog Beds, $155 and up

B & G Martin is an upscale indie company founded by Tamra Martin and named after her two adorable pups, Butch and Gus. The company offers an assortment of dog bed cushions that are eco-friendly and built to last. Choose from three finishes — microsuede, faux leather, and designer — lots of colors, and three insert options: recycled green poly fiber, faux down, and foam topped with faux down. The cushions are great on their own, but you can add more support (and style!) via a wooden or metal wire base.

Majestic Pet Suede Dog Bed, $34 – $87

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, try Majestic Pet’s Suede Dog Bed. This bagel-style mattress starts at $34 for 24-inch beds and tops out at $87 for 52-inch beds. The base is made from waterproof 300/600 Denier and the design allows pets to rest their head along the edge, which provides spine support. Choose from seven different color options, including navy, chocolate, gray, rust, stone, sage, and black.

Snoozer Pet Products Cozy Cave Dog Bed, $109

For the pooch who appreciates a little time away from the noisy world (and who doesn’t?), consider a dog cave bed. These are typically made for extra small, small, and medium sized dogs (sorry large fur babes) and provide a dark and quiet sanctuary for serious sleepers. We like the Snoozer Pet Products Cave Dog Bed ($109) for several reasons. First, it’s constructed from high quality materials including Sherpa lining, mildew-resistant fabric, and fray-proof edges that make it ideal for indoor or outdoor usage. Second, it’s available in a handful of beautiful designs.

K&H Pet Products Original Pet Cot, $30

Another budget-friendly option is K&H Pet Product’s Pet Cot, available on Amazon for around $30 for small, medium, and large sizes. It’s constructed from waterproof, 600 Denier fabric and features a breathable mesh center that will help keep your pooch cool. To ensure your pets are comfortable — and to improve the cot’s lifespan — we recommend this option for pets that are under 100 pounds no matter what size you buy.

Harmony Orthopedic Cuddler Dog Bed, $70

This orthopedic dog bed from Harmony looks beautiful and provides max support for your pooch. The bolster walls make it feel extra secure, cozy, and comfortable, plus they assist in spine support. Additionally, the cushion is made from orthopedic-grade foam to provide hip and joint support while making the bed super comfortable.

If you’re buying a specialty dog bed, you probably consider your pup worthy of the best comfort and care. Treating our pups to the best is pretty easy when it comes to vet care: get pet health insurance! Find out more about our dog insurance by getting a free quote.
