Why Not Me? Meet Abigail!

By Colleen Williams
January 17, 2018 • 1 min. read

We’ve partnered with Pawsitive Alliance for the #WhyNotMePets campaign to give difficult-to-home pets an extra paw up. These lovable pets are ready to find their forever homes.

Age/Gender/Size: Adult (4 years old), female, a little overweight (more to love!)
Breed: Tabby
Likes: Being outside; calm kids and dogs
Dislikes: Chaos!
Special Considerations: Currently on a diet to lose a few ounces
Notes:  She would benefit from a secured and safe outdoor space. She is a fun curious kitty that is hoping to find a calm home. She would do fine with kids/dogs that won’t fuss with her much.

Abigail is a beautiful 4-year-old brown tabby, not quite height-weight proportionate. She could stand to lose a few ounces, and Peninsula Friends of Animals has her on a diet to help do just that. She is quite a character and has a mind of her own – she knows exactly what she wants and when she wants it, and will not hesitate to make her wishes known.

She loves heights – her favorite place is the top of the tall cat tree in her room. She also loves being on her back, with her head hanging over the edge of the cat tree. If you like independent cats (and have a tall cat tree), Abby is the gal for you!

Abigail has been fully vetted, spayed and has all shots. Find out more at Peninsula Friends of Animals in Sequim, WA by calling 360-452-0414 or sending an email.

Every Wednesday, Healthy Paws will highlight a new pet from Pawsitive Alliance’s #WhyNotMePets campaign. Visit the #WhyNotMePets page for a list of adoptable dogs and cats.
