Why Not Me? Meet Kitkat!

By Colleen Williams
March 26, 2018 • 1 min. read

We’ve partnered with Pawsitive Alliance for the #WhyNotMePets campaign to give difficult-to-home pets an extra paw up. These lovable pets are ready to find their forever homes.

Age/Gender/Size: 3 years (DOB: 12/2014); Female; Medium
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Likes: Slices of deli turkey
Dislikes: Stressful situations
Special Considerations: No children and no other pets, please.

Kitkat is a young female Domestic Shorthair who would love to be a part of a serene forever home, full of your love and attention. She has a large appetite and enjoys eating everything, including (and most especially) deli turkey!

KitKat has a lot of energy and spunk! When she is nervous, she can play rough and swat, with claws. Because of this, she wouldn’t be a good fit for a home with young children. She would, however, flourish in the home of an experienced cat parent. She has a mellow and sweet side that is just waiting to come out.

Kit Kat has been fully vetted, microchipped and spayed. She’s currently living in a foster home, so an appointment will need to be made to meet her. Contact Seattle Area Feline Rescue at (206) 659-6220 or email to learn more about adding Kit Kat to your family!

Every Wednesday, Healthy Paws will highlight a new pet from Pawsitive Alliance’s #WhyNotMePets campaign. Visit the #WhyNotMePets page for a list of adoptable dogs and cats.
