Why Not Me? Meet Veronica!

By Colleen Williams
April 3, 2019 • 1 min. read

We’ve partnered with Pawsitive Alliance for the #WhyNotMePets campaign to give difficult-to-home pets an extra paw up. These lovable pets are ready to find their forever homes.

Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Age/Gender/Size: 3 years / Female / Small
Likes: Lounging, window watching
Dislikes: Being too social
Special Considerations: Veronica has a spicy attitude

Veronica is located at the Auburn Valley Humane Society in Auburn, WA. The shelter says: “Hi my nam

e is Veronica and I have Cattitude! I am a sassy, classy girl who likes to lounge around in sunbeams. I am not the type of cat that likes to be carried around and the center of attention.”

Veronica’s ideal forever home would be calm and relaxing where she could pay you a visit if she wanted some pets or attention. Veronica prefers to approach her humans on her time,  so she’s pretty independent outside feeding time! She enjoys peace and solitude, and is described as “a low-key girl who minds her own business, and actually enjoys being by herself.”

Veronica is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and given flea control. Please contact the Auburn Valley Humane Society at (253) 249-7849 or email:

Every Wednesday,
Healthy Paws will highlight a new pet from Pawsitive Alliance’s #WhyNotMePets campaign. Visit the #WhyNotMePets page for a list of adoptable dogs and cats.
