We’ve partnered with Pawsitive Alliance for the #WhyNotMePets campaign to give difficult-to-home pets an extra paw up. These lovable pets are ready to find their forever homes.

MEET BONNIE.

Age/Gender/Size: 8 years; Female; Medium

Breed: American Bulldog/Labrador Mix

Likes: Long walks or setting out on hiking trails, scents and smells of the outdoors, cuddling and belly rubs.

Dislikes: Apartment living.

Special Considerations: No other pets and no children.

Sweet and loving Bonnie, the eight-year-old American Bulldog-Labrador mix, is a wonderful senior pup who loves to go on walks – she’d make a great trail buddy! This special girl very much enjoys social time with her humans.

Bonnie was originally found on the street as a stray and would love a forever home where she can be safe and warm every night. She’ll be most successful in a home where she can shine as the only pet – no other dogs or cats, and no kids. Bonnie is a food-guarder, most likely due to her past, and will need an adult who sticks to daily training and exercise.

Bonnie would prefer not to live in an apartment or condo; it’s a bit too busy of a lifestyle for her! She is relatively healthy, but is on a special food diet. She has been fully vetted, microchipped and spayed. Contact Homeward Pet Rescue at 425.488.4444 to learn more about adding Bonnie to your family!

Every Wednesday, Healthy Paws will highlight a new pet from Pawsitive Alliance’s #WhyNotMePets campaign. Visit the #WhyNotMePets page for a list of adoptable dogs and cats.
