Why Not Me? Meet Tesla!

By Colleen Williams
January 23, 2019 • 1 min. read

We’ve partnered with Pawsitive Alliance for the #WhyNotMePets campaign to give difficult-to-home pets an extra paw up. These lovable pets are ready to find their forever homes.

Breed: Boxer Mix
10 months old/Spayed Female
48 pounds
Special Considerations:
Incontinence due to congenital condition (please call for more information)

Fans of beautiful, boisterous boxer girls will be big admirers of Tesla! Belly rubs, tug toys, Nylabones, and romping with doggy friends are among Tesla’s favorite things, but she adores her snuggle time with people, too.  Bonus: she would do well with most other dogs, cats, and sturdy, respectful kids.

She’s just learned “sit” – a great start to her ever expanding list of commands – and she loves taking treats gently from your hand for good behavior. If you’re ready to give Tesla the training, playtime, and outdoor adventure she needs, then this sweet, cuddly pup is ready to give you her heart.

Tesla has been fully vetted (spayed, microchipped and vaccinated), and is available for adoption at the Emerald City Pet Rescue (ECPR) in Seattle, WA. She has a congenital condition that makes her incontinent; please call ECPR for more information at 206-557-4661.

Every Wednesday, Healthy Paws will highlight a new pet from Pawsitive Alliance’s #WhyNotMePets campaign. Visit the #WhyNotMePets page for a list of adoptable dogs and cats.
