Healthy Paws Announces Mayday for Mutts Photo Contest

The first Sunday of May is nationally is nationally known as “Mayday for Mutts,” a day to celebrate our mixed breed pups (as well as seniors and special needs dogs) and kick off a month-long promotion of shelter and rescue adoption. Ending the myths about mutts – it’s the personality not the pedigree that counts! – can educate the public on all types of dogs, which can help lead to less puppy mills and an increase in homeless pups finding forever families.

To celebrate Mayday for Mutts, we want you to share a photo of that loveable mutt on Instagram and Facebook for a chance to win a $500 gift card to Petco. Together, let’s spread some puppy love and mutt-positivity!

Here’s How to Enter:

For Instagram:

  • Follow @gohealthypaws on Instagram*
  • Share a photo of your mutt and why you love them. Tag the photo with @gohealthypaws and use the hashtag #GoHealthyMutts.

*Must have a public Instagram profile to enter.

For Facebook:

Submission period opens May 1 at 9:00am PT. Entries accepted until Friday, May 5 at 11:59pm PT.

Winner Selection: Finalists will be selected based on the creativity of their entry. Voting will take place May 8-9, 2017 among the staff of Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and announced on Wednesday, May 10, 2017.  The winner will be notified via a tag on Instagram or Facebook.
